The Teeth in a Day® Procedure
The journey to a new smile begins with an initial consultation. During this visit, Dr. Butura evaluates your oral health, reviews your medical history, and discusses your dental goals to determine your suitability for the Teeth in a Day® procedure. Every patient is unique, and the treatment plan is customized to your specific needs and desires. X-rays and 3D imaging are used to create a precise surgical plan.
Any remaining teeth that need to be removed are extracted on the day of surgery. The dental implants are then strategically positioned in your jawbone using the All-on-4® technique, ensuring stability and longevity. Once the implants are securely in place, a set of provisional teeth is attached, allowing you to leave our office with a functional smile on the same day.
After your Teeth in a Day® procedure, you’ll have follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments. These appointments are crucial to ensure the long-term success of your new smile. After the initial healing period, you will receive your permanent set of teeth, custom-designed to match your unique smile.
Implant Recovery and Aftercare
Some mild discomfort and swelling are expected after the procedure, but we will provide pain management instructions to make your recovery as comfortable as possible. You’ll receive guidance on what to eat during the initial healing period and how to maintain good oral hygiene.
A soft diet is essential for the first week or two to allow your implants time to integrate successfully with the surrounding bone. Most patients can return to work and routine activities within 3-5 days.
